NPS3D's Visit to the Institute
We were honored to host the exceptionally talented professional artist, NPS3D, at the Inside Institute of Filmmaking. During his visit, NPS3D conducted an in-depth workshop on Geometry Nodes in Blender, providing our students with hands-on experience and advanced techniques in this powerful tool.
NPS3D shared his extensive experience working with international clients as a filmmaker, offering valuable insights into managing projects professionally. He covered topics such as client communication, project planning, and meeting deadlines, providing our students with practical advice to excel in their careers.
Inside Cricket League 2024
The Inside Cricket League, hosted by the Inside Institute of Filmmaking, featured six teams in a dynamic 5-day tournament. Students displayed exceptional dedication, leading to intense and closely contested matches that kept spectators enthralled. A highlight was a friendly match between the best student players and institute staff, emphasizing camaraderie and sportsmanship. The event not only showcased cricketing talent but also fostered teamwork and community spirit within the institute.
Film Shoot 2024
"DADA KA KHAZANA" is an upcoming short film by Inside Motion Pictures Production, directed by Inside AKY and Insight Keti. The film was primarily shot in Narnaul, Haryana, with additional scenes filmed near Narnaul city. Students from the Inside Institute worked as the Crew, developing leading skills on this major project. Despite numerous challenges, the dedicated team of mentors, teachers, and students completed the shoot in just 12 days. Experience the talent and hard work that went into this well-crafted short film.
Sony Workshop 2024
Inside Institute of Filmmaking recently hosted an exclusive Sony camera workshop in collaboration with Sony India, providing hands-on practice sessions led by experienced Sony India professionals. Participants had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the latest Sony cameras and lenses, including the cutting-edge G Master series. This workshop not only enhanced attendees' technical expertise but also offered practical skills crucial for modern filmmaking. Cinema Workshop 2024
The Cinema Workshop Organised by Inside Institute of Filmmaking at Punjab Film City. Worshop provided hands-on experience with the Sony FX6 camera , there was a guided session by Aputure company professionals for Aputure multiple Cinema lights and equipments. Students practiced Jimmy Jib operation and participated in live shoot experiences. The workshop also included a location overview by the Punjab Film City owner. Students Enhanced thier filmmaking skills with practical, real-world training.
Sony Camera Workshop 2023
Inside Institute of Filmmaking recently organized an enriching One Day Sony Camera Workshop, an immersive experience tailored for photography enthusiasts and aspiring filmmakers. Participants dived into the world of visual storytelling with hands-on exploration of Sony cameras, including the cutting-edge A7M4, A7R3, and FX6 models paired with Gmaster Lenses. The workshop not only provided expert knowledge from industry professionals but also included a captivating outdoor photoshoot, allowing attendees to apply their newfound skills in a real-world setting. This dynamic session at Inside Institute showcased the convergence of theory and hands-on experience, reinforcing our commitment to empowering students through innovative and comprehensive workshops
Cinema Workshop 2022
Inside Institute of Filmmaking proudly organized an enriching Cinema Workshop hosted at Karma Studio, offering an unparalleled learning experience with a special focus on the industry-leading Arri Alexa Mini. Participants delved into the world of cinematography with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge equipment such as Deva lights and the Ronin gimbal. The workshop seamlessly integrated student shoots, empowering aspiring filmmakers to hone their direction skills and master Arri Alexa Mini and gimbal operation. With a focus on setup creation and imparting expert knowledge, this workshop provided a unique blend of theory and hands-on experience. These workshops are held once or twice every year.
Cinema Workshop 2021
Red camera workshop along with lighting workshop is held in Inside Institute of Filmmaking once in a year. Students participates actively in these workshops. The workshop is very helpful to students as it allows student to get familiar to various aspects of Film Production. The purpose of these workshop is to provide students with the knowledge of how to operate and maintain industry level equipment as well as prepare them for their upcoming projects for their career advancement. As a part of our previous workshop, light men and other people shared their experience with students. Students also used the film equipment practically. These workshops are held once or twice every year.
Workshops by Teachers
Not only theory and practical, students need an insight of real experience stories and challenges faced in the filmmaking field. This is the main reason to conduct teacher’s workshops at our institute regularly. These are interactive sessions between students and teachers. These workshops are designed to allow teachers to share their own work journey in this industry based on their experiences, and to help students minimize or eliminate the challenges they faced in their own journey. Workshops are meant to clarify students’ doubt they can’t ask in the classroom regarding career choices, job opportunities and the film industry. Filmmaking is a vast field so students often get confused. Through these workshops they can learn different aspects of the Filmmaking field.
Educational Trips
Educational trips are organized once or twice a year for the students. The students explore new environments and cultures. In the field of Filmmaking, the students should have knowledge about different things and culture. These trips help them explore and learn new possibilities which eventually helps them in their creative outlet and work.
Practical Shoots
We believe that, we learn things better by participating in real-life experiences rather than by just learning in the classroom. For this reason, we provide every student with an opportunity to participate in shoots, whether they are assignments related or company’s commercial shoot, our students get practical experience of all kinds. In our views, field experiences are the best way for students to learn professionally and improve their skills. We assign different roles (Script Writing, Production management, VFX artist, Video editor, DOP and many more) to the students so that that get hands-on experience in all areas of filmmaking. These practical sessions provide students with a chance to hone their skills and apply what they have learned in classes.
Students Orientation
At the beginning of the course we conduct a student orientation where we introduce our institute’s rules, culture, history and introduce them to the staff. We also conduct various activities that allow teachers and students to get to know each other better. Through this orientation we try to give a glimpse of our Institute’s work ethics and make the students comfortable.
Certifications
After course completion, students are awarded with course completion certificate along with grades according to their performance throughout the course. Students are additionally awarded with appreciation letter. Also a farewell is held where junior batch and institute staff give a short party and give the seniors their best wishes for a bright future ahead.
Award Winners
In Inside institute we organize Competitions for students once or twice a month. The students are allowed to participate in a team or as an individual. The competitions are designed in such a way that it compliments them in their course and the syllabus. Even the competitions also helps students in Scholarship program.
